CHILDREN GET ACQUAINT WITH MUSEUM IN NATURE

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/ Students of the 7th grade of Tovshruulekh soum, Arkhangai aimag have had a cognitive travel ‘Path through History-2’ organized by Arkhangai aimag Local Musuem in collaboration with librarians and staff in charge of Cultural heritage of the soum. The children got acquainted with historical and cultural heritages in Khoton soum of Arkhangai aimag and visited Kharkhorin Museum, Erdenezuu Monastery, Natural Museum of Tsogt Ikh Geriin Sum in World Heritage-Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape, sites of stone turtle and remains dates back to Stone Age in Moiltiin am in Uvurkhangai aimag. The Local Musuem organizes ‘Path through history’ travel annually with aims to introduce teachers and students with historical remains on the site which means museum in nature as well as to honor history and traditional heritage.
