China Expresses Its Readiness To Provide More Support For Iraq Financially And Economically

BAGHDAD / NINA / Deputy Speaker Aram Sheikh Mohammed discussed with the Chinese ambassador in Baghdad, Chen Wei Zheng and his accompanying delegation, ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in various fields and all channels of cooperation and communication. His office said in a statement, "Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Ambassador Cheng on the occasion of his accession to the post, wishing him success in performing his tasks, praising the positive role of China in providing support and assistance to the Iraqi people and the Kurdistan region, especially in these difficult circumstances with the financial problems and the economic crisis that gripped the country due to lower oil prices." He called on the Chinese side to further initiatives and contributes in reconstructing and service municipalities' projects, stressing the importance of benefiting from the experiences of China as an industrial country and a large economic and effectively product in global markets.
