China Provides Online Employment Training For Retired Officers

BEIJING, Dec 31 (Bernama) -- An online employment training system for retired officers has been introduced in China, according to China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. About 40,000, or 95 per cent of retired officers had received training through the system this year, Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Yin Weimin told a conference held in Beijing on Thursday. The minister said the system also targeted retiring high-ranking officers who opted to start their own businesses or sourced jobs by themselves instead of taking up offers to join government-linked agencies or public institutions. -- BERNAMA
