Cinematographers Should Promote Afghan Art, Culture, Dr. Sadat

Kabul (BNA) A number of top members of Afghanistan young cinematographers and film-producers called on acting minister of information and culture and shared their problems with him. In the meeting, Saleem Shaheen and Fazel Hadi Kafshani, representing the others, spoke and enumerated problems of the cinematographers and film-producers, asking ministry of information and culture for supporting artists and film-producers to improve cinema art in the country. They also asked for releasing Afghan films showing life of the Afghan people in various fields through cinemas inside the country and find such films opportunity to be screen through local TV channels in cooperation with ministry of information and culture. After hearing problems of cinematographers and film-producers, acting minister of information and culture Dr. Kamal Sadat promised to support the artists and film-producers so that cinema would improve in the country. Dr. Sadat asked the country’s cinematographers to further pay attention to development of real Afghani art and culture.
