Coordination meeting held

Manama, Mar.5(BNA): A coordination meeting was held today, Sunday, to discuss required steps for the implementation of the one-stop crossing on King Fahad Causeway at the Customs Affairs building. Chaired by the Customs President, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Assistant Undersecretary of Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, the meeting discussed views of concerned authorities that highlighted their technical readiness, while they are waiting for the technical team to complete some exchange of information. The meeting highlighted that the implementation of the one-stop crossing that was supposed to be enforced on March 6 on the private lane will be delayed for some technical steps. It was also highlighted that the process is in its final stages. The meeting praised efforts by all concerned authorities and facilities provided to eliminate hinders. It is worth mentioning that the decision was part of the directives of the leaderships of both countries to promote economic development and the international trade. (MOI)
