COVID-19: 95,418 Positive Cases, 4,665 Deaths In Indonesia

JAKARTA, July 24 (Bernama) -- COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia have risen to 95,418, including 1,761 new cases within a period of 24 hours. Between noon Thursday and noon Friday, 89 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of fatalities from the viral infection to 4,665. According to the latest data available on the Indonesian government’s official website on COVID-19 at www.covid19.go.id, 53,702 patients were still being monitored. East Java Province has recorded the highest number of deaths from COVID-19 at 1,554, followed by Jakarta (755), Central Java (544), South Sulawesi (290) and the rest of the regions. East Java also has the highest number of positive cases at 19,946, followed by Jakarta (18,365) and 32 other provinces. -- BERNAMA
