Crown Prince receives FDPM fellowship programme successful candidates

Manama, May 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the successful candidates of the First Deputy Prime Minister (FDPM)’s fellowship programme at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of further bolstering national skills and capabilities to support the Kingdom's programme of sustainable development. His Royal Highness noted that the significant amount of applications to the fellowship programme reflects the commitment of Bahraini youth to further develop their skill sets and to capitalise on opportunities that facilitate the development of their performance. His Royal Highness expressed his hope that the fellowship programme will be at the forefront of government development programmes and will contribute to increasing the proficiency of the national workforce through improving the leadership and analytical skills of the fellows. His Royal Highness added that this opportunity will enhance their performance once they return to their posts after completing the training programme. The fellows extended their appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness on the opportunity to meet with him, and his commitment to developing the national workforce through his continuous support to training schemes and programmes. The fellows also extended their appreciation to the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minster in light of the support they have received.
