DAY OF FAMILIES MARKED WITH ‘WE ARE ONE FAMILY’ EVENT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 11, in conjunction with International Day of Families, Ulaanbaatar City Governor's Office, Ulaanbaatar City Social Welfare Agency, Wedding Palace of Mongolia is co-organizing 'We Are One Family' event at Wedding Palace. A wedding of 11 couples who have been married for more than 10 years has taken place within the event. The event also organized a training session on 'Family Value' for 700 families and introduced them the Wedding Palace. The United Nations General Assembly, in its resolution 47/237 of September 20, 1993 proclaimed May 15 as the International Day of Families. The event was attended by Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city D.Enkhtur, Head of the Ulaanbaatar City Social Welfare Agency T.Oyunchimeg and employees of Labour and Welfare Service Department of Ulaanbaatar districts.
