DEFENSE MINISTRIES OF MONGOLIA AND GERMANY HOLD 13TH CONSULTATIVE MEETING

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The 13th consultative meeting between the Ministry of Defense of Mongolia and the Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany took place on April 20-21 in Ulaanbaatar. In the beginning of the consultative meeting, Brigadier-General Kh.Batbileg, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, held a meeting with Axel Ristau, branch head of International Security Policy and Bilateral Relations of Germany. They exchanged views on bilateral ties and cooperation in the field of defense and discussed about peacekeeping operations and military trainings. Since 2009, the armed forces of Mongolia and the Federal Republic of Germany have been jointly participating in exercises of peacekeeping operations, pre-operational practices and trainings. Moreover, military contingents of the two countries are serving together in NATO-led mission ‘Resolute Support’ in Afghanistan. M.Unurzul
