DEPUTY MAYOR MEETS OGP REPRESENTATIVES

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On March 22, D.Enkhtur, Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar in charge of Poverty Reduction and Employment, met with Paul Maassen, ‘Open Government Partnership’ (OPG) Director for Civil Society Engagement and Shreya Basu, OGP Regional Civil Society Coordinator for Asia Pacific. During the meeting, D.Enkhtur said, “Within the frame of National Action Plan 2016-2018, the Governor Office of Ulaanbaatar city, a local branch of the OPG, is taking a number of activities to make actions of public administrative organizations transparent and the public service prompt, ensuring citizens’ participation." "The municipal government announced 2018 as Year of living environment improvement with participation of citizens with a purpose to bring services of local administrative organizations into a new stage, reflect citizens’ ideas in decision-making, increase public involvement in urban development and construction and ensure people to live and work in healthy and safe environment," emphasized D.Enkhtur.
