Deputy Premier meets South Korean delegation

Manama, June4 (BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, received South Korean National Assembly Health and Social Affairs Steering Committee Chairman Seung-Jo Yang and delegation from the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Services (HIRA). The meeting was attended by Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa and Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh. The South Korean delegation arrived in Bahrain to attend the inauguration of Bahrain SEHATI - ICT Project. The Deputy Premier, also Head of the Ministerial Committee for Financial Affairs and the Rationalisation of Spending, stressed the importance of benefiting from the expertise of advanced countries in implementing the health insurance scheme, which will take effect once endorsed by the legislative branch of government. Present were South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain Koo Hyunmo, Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Aisha Bu’unq, SCH Secretary-General Ibrahim Al-Nawakhda and the accompanying delegation.
