DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RELATED INFORMATION TO BE STORED IN ONE DATABASE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The integrated digital database for domestic violence, initiated by the National Police Agency, was put into operation on April 6. The improvement of the domestic violence related information system will allow police officers who work on calls for service to access the information about perpetrators in advance, prevent the accused from avoiding proper penalty and to define assistance to victims. All information on victims and other family members including children who have been in temporary shelter or recieved service from one-window service center will be fully registered in the integrated digital database for domestic violence, thus data on domestic violence and violence related information will be complete and accurate.
