DPRK Birthday to Be Marked in South Africa

Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th birthday of the DPRK was formed by the South African Communist Party on August 10. Blade Nzimande, general secretary of the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party, was elected chairperson of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from Aug. 10 to Sep. 10 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events. -0-
