DPRK Government Delegation Visits Turkmenistan

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government delegation led by Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho visited Turkmenistan on April 7-8. During the visit, Ri Yong Ho had talks with Rashid Meredov, foreign minister of Turkmenistan. Exchanged at the talks were views on a series of matters arising in further developing the traditional friendly relations between the two countries and international and regional issues of mutual concern. Rashid Meredov expressed the will to develop the friendly relations with the DPRK in the future, hailing the fact that the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un made important proposals for improving the north-south relations from the beginning of the year and the course of détente started on the Korean peninsula thanks to the practical measures for implementing them and the progress is being made in developing the inter-Korean relations. Ri Yong Ho paid a courtesy call on Mammedowa Gulsat, speaker of the Parliament. -0-
