DPRK's Birthday to Be Marked in Sri Lanka

Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- A Sri Lankan preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK was formed in Colombo on Aug. 25. The chairman of the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from Aug. 25 to Sept. 10 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of the peerlessly great men's exploits for the founding and development of the DPRK in the period. -0-
