Embassy in Egypt marks Bahrain Sports Day

Cairo, Feb. 13 (BNA): Bahrain’s embassy to Egypt organised sports activities for its staff based in Cairo, with the participation of members of the Shura Council, the House of Representatives, Bahraini officials of the League of Arab States and a number of Bahraini students, to celebrate Bahrain Sports Day.  Bahrain Sports Day was decided by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and supported by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee. The celebrations reflect the keenness of the wise leadership on the health and well-being of all Bahrainis.  Bahrain's Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa, diplomats and local staff, participated in sports activities such as jogging and walking.
