Embassy in Japan marks Bahrain Sports Day

Tokyo, Feb. 13 (BNA): Bahrain's embassy in Japan organized sports activities for its members in Tokyo in celebration of the Bahrain Sports Day, following the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, supported by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee. The embassy was keen to celebrate Bahrain Sports Day this year to encourage all its members to exercise in order to instil a culture of sport as a way of life by emphasizing the importance of a healthy body and mind. Sports activities varied from walking, jogging and cycling starting from the embassy and heading towards the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Tower.
