Erdogan: Yildirim's Upcoming Visit To Iraq Is To End The Former Tensions Between The Two Countries

BAGHDAD / NINA / Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that the visit of Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim to Iraq aims to ending the previous tension in the relations between the two countries.
He said in a speech before the weekly meeting of the mayors in the presidential compound in the capital Ankara "we are monitoring the situation in Iraq closely, and the Prime Minister will visit Iraq in order to end the former tensions between the two countries."
On the Syrian crisis, the Turkish president said, "we try our best with Russia to end the Syrian crisis and maintain the ceasefire and humanitarian aid access."
He added: "We will liberate al-Bab city soon and then we will move to Manbej city to release it from the terrorist organizations within the shield of the Euphrates process in northern Syria."
He explained, "Turkey's engagement with military operations outside its territory is to protect its people and its borders, and we do not have any ambitions to intervene in the affairs of other countries, and we will fight the terrorist organizations all over the place, and the process will continue until the Euphrates Shield achieves its goals."/ End
