Fire at Ban Muang newspaper office

BANGKOK, June 19 (TNA) – A fire broke out at the Ban Muang newspaper printing house at Soi Vibhavadi Rangsit 38 this morning. No one was hurt in the incident and it took more than one hour for firefighters to put out the blaze, which erupted on the empty floor where papers and document were stored. It is initially presumed that an explosion of an air-conditioning compressor behind the building ignited the fire. The Ban Muang newspaper stopped publication of Ban Muang daily newspaper at the beginning of this year. It now operates for online editions only. (TNA)
