First Day Of Exam Runs Smoothly In Jayapura

Jayapura, Papua, April 14 (Antara) - The chief of education service in Jayapura of Papua Province, Roberth J Betaubun, stated that the first day of National Examination in the city ran smoothly without any negative incident. "Generally the exams run smoothly. We have prepared the distribution of test papers and the implementation of the examination. So far, there has been no negative report relating to the event," Roberth asserted here on Monday. Roberth has conducted an inspection to some senior high schools including Taruna Bhakti Catholic Senior High School and the 3 Senior High Schools in Buper of Jayapura. "We have directly inspected the National Exam in the two schools and the test running smoothly," Roberth pointed out. The total number of students who follow the examination in Jayapura reached 13,397 persons, where 4,479 of them are at senior high school level. "The distribution of the National Exam logistics has been 100 percent successfully implemented and generally ran smoothly," he clarified. Roberth added that his institution guaranteed that there will be no fraud during the distribution of the test papers. "We are optimistic that 100 percent of students will pass the 2014 examination," he explained, adding that the total supervisors for the test in Jayapura reached at least 2 thousand people.
