Five people injured in explosion at cooking gas shop

RAYONG, June 20 (TNA) – Five people, including a ten-year-old girl were wounded in an explosion at a cooking gas shop in Rayong. The incident occurred at 9pm yesterday in the Saphan Si market in Pluak Daeng district. The injured are four men and a girl. All of them suffered burn injuries. According to an initial investigation, the blast happened when workers were filling LPG gas cylinders. It is initially believed that gas leakage may catch the spark from metal welding behind the shop, leading to the explosion. Officials have cordoned off the shop areas for the safety reason. Forensic expects will inspect the site to find the real cause of explosion. (TNA)
