Foreign Minister meets GCC Secretary General

NewYork,Sept.27(BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City with the General Secretary of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his sincere appreciation for the tireless efforts of Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani in developing the role of the General Secretary of Gulf Cooperation Council, and enhancing the role of the Council in all regional and international issues, and in addition to the consolidation of peace and security in the region and the world. For his part, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, expressed his pride in meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs, which comes within his keenness to continue consultation and exchange of views on all issues that will support security, stability and development.
