Foreign Minister meets Indian counterpart

New York, Sept. 27 (BNA): he Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Dr.Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's pride in strong historical relations with the friendly Republic of India, and their continuous development which reflects common keenness to promote bilateral cooperation regarding issues of mutual concern. For his part, Dr.Subrahmanyam Jaishankar noted strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India, and the progress of joint cooperation at all levels, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
