Foreign Minister meets Pakistani counterpart

New York, Sept. 26(BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs hailed the distinct relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and its growing progress at all levels. He also highlighted the keenness of both countries to continue cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest. For his part, Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed his country’s pride in its close relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing its willingness to invest in opportunities to advance these relations for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
