Foreign Minister meets Thai counterpart

New York, Sep. 27 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met his Thai counterpart, Mr. Don Pramudwinai, on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly here. The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Bahrain's pride in the friendly relations with the Kingdom of Thailand and the development witnessed at all levels, reflecting the keenness of the two countries and their tireless efforts to enhance mutual coordination on regional and international issues of common concern and to serve their interests and friendly people. Mr. Don Pramudwinai underlined the keenness of the Kingdom of Thailand to pursue bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain to broader horizons in all fields, noting the significant positive role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain on the regional and international arenas. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the most important issues ahead of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.
