Foreign Minister receives Algerian counterpart

Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today met Algeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdelkader Messahel. Shaikh Khalid expressed pride in the strong brotherly relations between the two countries, commending the development of these relations in various fields. Ways to enhance joint coordination and cooperation in various sectors were reviewed. Messahel affirmed his country's keenness to further strengthen bilateral ties and develop joint action in various fields in the interest of the two countries and their people. The meeting also discussed coordination on the latest Arab region's developments and ways to combat terrorism and its supporters and funders.
