French Defence Minister Calls On M'sian PM

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), Feb 14 (Bernama) -- French Defence Minister Gerard Longuet today called on Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak at his office here, on Monday. Longuet was accompanied by the French Ambassador to Malaysia, Madame Martine Dorance; the diplomatic advisor to the minister, Madame Michèle Ramis; director of strategic affairs Michel Miraillet; director of international development of the General Directorate for Armaments (DGA) Yves Blanc and diplomatic cell officer Captain Henri Schricke. Also present at the meeting was Malaysian Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Najib and Longuet discussed, among other things, bilateral relations and the latest developments in Europe.
