French-Thai beauty crowned Miss Tourism Queen Thailand 2017

BANGKOK, July 15 (TNA) -- A French-Thai beauty Chatrika or Morgan is crowned Miss Tourism Queen Thailand 2017. The 24-year-old native of Chon Buri was among 25 ladies from across Thailand in the contest to select a representative of Thailand at Miss Tourism Queen International 2017. This year, the international pageant will be hosted by the city of Xiong'an, China, from September 2 to 27 September. Chatrika also won two other titles: Thailand’s Tourism Ambassador and Cultural and Women’s Rights Ambassador at the final held Thursday night at Central plaza Chaengwattana convention hall, Bangkok. All 25 beauties appeared in costumes made of Thai traditional fabric and introduced themselves in dialects of their hometowns. Chatrika also won cash prize and diamond jewelry worth over Bt1.2 million. (TNA)
