Ghana seeks Iran's help to cope with flood

Tehran, Nov 9, IRNA – Advisor Minister to Ghana’s President Rafato Al-Hassan on Tuesday asked Iran to help his country cope with flood.
He made the request during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Accra Mohammad Soleimani with whom he also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
“Appreciating Iranian companies and private sector’s contribution to various construction, health, technical and educational projects in his county, he referred to recent floods in Ghana and asked for Iranian humanitarian aid to his fellow citizens.
Soleimani described the upcoming visit to Iran of Ghana’s foreign minister as an important sign of friendly relations between the two countries.
He also called for expansion of mutual ties and continuation of Iran's cooperation with African countries especially with Ghana. /end
