Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture inaugurated in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 5th February, 2018 (WAM) -- Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, today inaugurated the fifth session of the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture. The two-day event is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, ADFCA. The event, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC, will be held in conjunction with the Emirates Innovation Month. About 600 companies will showcase their advanced products and services, as well as more than 50 innovations will be presented for the first time in the forum. The forum's stature is enhanced each year as its pivotal role is highlighted as the world's largest agricultural innovation exhibition. The opening ceremony was also attended by Mariam Hareb Almheiri, Minister of State for Food Security, along with a number of officials.
