Governmental efforts to optimise services stressed

Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. They stressed the ongoing governmental initiatives to optimise services by boosting efforts of development and innovation, pointing out the ongoing work to increase non-oil revenues by promoting vital economic sectors. HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince expressed satisfaction at the growing non-oil sectors, stressing that the successive touristic, cultural, commercial, industrial and sport functions witnessed by Bahrain are in support of the government’s trend to bring about a quality change in the contribution of those vital sectors to the Goss Domestic Product (GDP). They praised Bahrain’s participation and success in hosting various regional and international events which has boosted its status in this regard and contributed directly and indirectly to invigorating the economy. They also underlined the need for the best use of modern information technologies to optimise services.
