Greetings to 30th AU Summit

Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Wednesday sent a message of greeting to the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union being held in Addis Ababa of Ethiopia. Kim in the message expressed the belief that the AU summit would bear wonderful fruition in desires of the peoples of the countries in the region. He hoped that the AU summit would mark a significant occasion in accelerating integration of the continent and achieving its prosperity as well as in promoting its socio-economic development, reaffirming the invariable stand of the DPRK government to further expand and develop onto a new high stage the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with the AU and its member states. -0-
