H-2 VISA INFORMATION TO BE DELIVERED FOR CITIZENS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Consular Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia (MFAM), organized a forum themed ‘Involvement in the USA H-2 Visa program’. The Department will deliver information for citizens by combining information from organizations that participated in the forum. During the forum, Jason Spellberg, Consular Section Chief of the US Embassy, Ts.Amartugs, chief of the Department for Employment Policy Implementation Coordination, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (MLSP), T.Bat-Ulzii, chief of Department for Treaty, Law and Cooperation, the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs (MJHA), U.Erdenetuya, supervision prosecutor of the State General Prosecutor’s Office (SGPO) and Ya.Ariunbold, chief of the Consular Department of MFAM gave related information and exchanged views on increasing a possibility to involve Mongolians in H-2 Visa program, providing citizens with required information, defining roles of authorized organizations of the USA and Mongolia as well as combating illegal visa intermediations. The forum brought together officials from MJHA, SGPO, MLSP and the General Agency for Labor and Social Service and representatives from companies that operate in student exchanges and educational programs.
