Highly Effective Preventive Medicines Developed

Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- The Biomedicine Institute under the Academy of Medical Science in the DPRK has developed highly effective preventive medicines for the improvement of people's health. Among them are the medicine for preventing recombinant viral liver diseases with no harmful effect on internal organs and the recombined hirudin injection of great clinical significance in preventing thrombus. Those medicines already went through clinical examinations. Moreover, the institute also developed 10-odd kinds of diagnostic reagents and preventive medicines like hypertension vaccine. -0-
