HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION IN ROUTE UB AND KHUSHIG VALLEY UNDER 44.1 PER CENT COMPLETE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 32.2 km highway construction work between Ulaanbaatar and Khushigiin Khundii, where new international airport under construction, is going in schedule with 44.1 per cent performance. Minister of Road and Transportation Development D.Ganbat visited the construction site last week and instructed to intensify the construction work. The highway will have width of 32.5m with six lanes. A total of 667 employees, among which 204 are Chinese, are working on the site, where 249 machineries, a concrete processing plant with capacity of 500 tone/hour as well as two mobile laboratories are operating. China Railway 4th bureau group of the PRC is working as a contractor and “Badrakh Oil” LLC, “Erdene zam” LLC and “Arj capital” LLC as sub-contractors. B.Ooluun
