HISTORICAL STUDY WORKS OF SARTUUL CLAN HANDED OVER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Historical study works of Sartuul clan are handed over to the General Archival Authority on March 12. A three volume book named ‘Sart gol Tsetsen Vangiin shashdir orshvoi’ (Treatise on the Sart gol Wise Wang) and its two varietal manuscripts ‘A family tree of Sartuul clan’ and original material of population census of Wise Sartuul’s Khoshuu (administrative division) in 1929 were handed over in Cyrillic script, said Historical Science Doctor G.Purevdorj. 32 meter long family tree was included names of over 4000 people, and the books tell about origin of the 30th generation’s kings and noblemen of Sartuul Khoshuu since Chinggis khaan, registration of population and appellation of local sites. Academician G.Chuluunbaatar highlighted that convertion work into Cyrillic script is a significant contribution to putting historical precious heritage, preserved in the archive into scientific circulation and disseminating it to the public. It is also an important achievement that new methodical way was used in making the historical and ethnographical research. Currently, there are 11 soums in Zavkhan province where people of Sartuul clan are living.
