HM King holds call with Egyptian President

Manama, Sept. 28 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone call today with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. They discussed regional issues, stressing the need for concerted efforts to confront regional challenges and preserve the Arab national security. HM the King expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s appreciation of Egypt’s efforts on the Arab scene to bolster regional and international peace and security. He lauded distinguished fraternal relations between both countries, stressing the kingdom’s keenness to boost bilateral cooperation. He also wished the Egyptian President every success in leading Egypt to more growth and prosperity. On his part, the Egyptian President praised strong historical ties binding the two brotherly countries and peoples, stressing keenness on more coordination regarding Arab issues.
