HM King meets Abu Dhabi Crown Prince

Al-Dhafra, Feb. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met here today the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the meeting, which was attended by HH Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al-Dhafra Region, HM the King exchanged cordial talks with HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed, which reflected the historic ties between the two brotherly countries and the desire of their leaderships to enhance them. HM King Hamad and HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed also engaged in the traditional sport of falconry, as part of their efforts to revive genuine traditions and heritage. Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman and Bahrain Athletics Association President, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, members of HM the King’s accompanying delegation and senior UAE officials were present. HM King Hamad left the UAE later today following a private visit. HM the King was seen off by HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed and HH Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed.
