HM the King praises BDF personnel

Manama, June 2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, today paid a visit to the General Headquarters of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Upon arrival, HM King Hamad was welcomed by the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Yussef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma, Chief of Staff and a number of senior BDF officers. HM the King met a number of officers. He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to all BDF personnel for their noble efforts and dedication in assuming their honourable patriotic duties of defending the beloved nation and the security of the citizens. HM King Hamad was briefed on BDF's various development programmes, and future plans to provide the latest military systems to enhance the capabilities of its affiliates and rehabilitate them, and train them according to the best scientific and military methods. HM the King, the Supreme Commander, lauded BDF's participation in the "Operation Restoring Hope", along with brotherly and friendly countries, in order to achieve the noble goals of developing brotherly Yemen, ensuring the security of the Yemeni people, and safeguarding peace and progress across the region. HM the King praised BDF personnel's bravery, outstanding professionalism and their high morale and strong will while assuming their duties. HM King Hamad affirmed that BDF's brave affiliates are the best to defend the nation and enhance its status among civilised countries. HM the King wished all BDF officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel further success in assuming their honourable national tasks.
