HM King receives Greek Foreign Minister

Manama, June 13 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has stressed the depth of the steadily growing Bahraini-Greek relations of cooperation and friendship. This came as HM the King received, at the Al-Sakhir Palace today, Greek Foreign Minister, Giorgos Katrougalos, who is currently on a visit to the kingdom. HM King Hamad welcomed Minister Giorgos Katrougalos, who conveyed to HM greetings from the Greek President, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, and Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, as well as their wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HM the King requested the minister to convey his greetings to the Greek President and Prime Minister, as well as his wishes of further progress and welfare to the friendly Greek people. HM King Hamad praised the advanced level reached by the Bahraini-Greek relations, affirming that the kingdom is looking forward to consolidating the existing partnerships and taking advantage of the two countries’ expertise and potentials to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly peoples. The Greek Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation of the key role played by HM the King to strengthen bilateral ties, and bolster coordination and cooperation between the two countries at all levels. He underlined his country’s interest in strengthening its relations and coordination with Bahrain in the political, economic, tourism and cultural fields for the best interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
