HM King thanked by speaker

Manama, Feb. 10 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks from the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla. Al-Mulla extended deepest thanks and appreciation to HM the King for patronising the National Action Charter (NAC) Conference, organised by the Representatives Council, in cooperation with the International Peace Institute (IPI), under the theme "Future Prospects, Sustainable Development and Peace". The speaker also expressed, on behalf of the participants in the conference, sincere thanks and gratitude to HM King Hamad for his unwavering interest in enhancing the kingdom’s status under the royal Reform Project, and for his sound directives in this regard. He asserted that the National Action Charter, the fruit of the royal vision which was unanimously approved by the loyal Bahraini people at a historic moment that was written with letters of light, has led the kingdom towards wider horizons of progress and renaissance in all fields of development for the best interests of the nation and the citizens in the present and future. The speaker affirmed allegiance to HM the King’s wise leadership, reiterating resolve to continue serving the nation in the Representatives Council and all state departments within the state of law and constitutional institutions. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to guide HM the King on the right path, and to preserve the Kingdom.
