HRH Crown Prince appoints new board members of Economic Development Board

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) today issued Edict (No. 1/2018) appointing a new board of directors for the Bahrain Economic Development Board EDB, for the term 2018 - 2021. The EDB board of directors, under HRH's chairmanship, is as follows: HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa HE Shaikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa HE Hasan Abdulla Fakhroo (Deputy Chairman) HE Minister of Finance HE Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain HE Minister of Labour and Social Development HE Minister of Transport and Telecommunications HE Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Chairman of Economic Affairs and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Farooq Yousif Al Moayed Mr. Saud Abdulaziz Kanoo Dr. Samer Majed Al Jishi Mr. Yousif Abdulla Ali Redha Tariq Jaleel AlSaffar Mr. Khaled Ebrahim Humaidan Mr. Khalid Ali Al-Ameen Ms. Najla Mohamed Al Shirawi Ms. Rasha Mohamed Sabkar Ms. Fatima Isa Ebrahim. These appointments will take effect immediately.
