HRH Crown Prince receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today received Kiyoshi Asako, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in Riffa Palace, to mark the end of his service in the Kingdom. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, Bahrain remains committed to further strengthening cooperation with Asian countries across the economy, trade and culture. His Royal Highness praised the steady development of bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan, which reflect a long history of trust and close engagement His Royal Highness noted that regular official visits have a vital role in strengthening economic collaboration and encouraging joint investments. In this regard, His Royal Highness acknowledged Japan’s longstanding reputation as one of the most advanced industrial nations in the world His Royal Highness and the ambassador discussed a range of regional and international issues of common interest His Royal Highness acknowledged the Japanese ambassador’s achievements during his role in the Kingdom and wished the ambassador every success in his future endeavours. For his part, the Japanese ambassador expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and acknowledged His Royal Highness’ ongoing contribution to the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two countries
