HRH Premier praises Bahraini women's dedication in serving nation

Manama, June 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Business and Professional Women International Federation (BPW Bahrain), led by Shaikha Hend bint Salman Al Khalifa. HRH the Prime Minister lauded Bahraini women’s dedication, and their influential contributions to enhancing the comprehensive development march witnessed by the kingdom in various fields. The Prime Minister underlined the government’s keenness on supporting the private sector and developing the business atmosphere so as to attract investments that benefit the national economy and generate more job opportunities for the citizens. HRH Premier expressed pride in Bahraini women who, he said, have been able to project to the world the civilisational image of Bahrain whose renaissance is based on the muscles of all its citizens –men and women. “The regional and international status reached by Bahrain in the fields of development and economic growth has not come from a vacuum, but it is the outcome of the long-standing dedication of Bahrainis –men and women- who have worked devotedly in order to strengthen the foundations for a developed and progressing country in various fields,” the Premier said. HRH the Prime Minister praised the contributions of BPW Bahrain to promoting the kingdom’s economic openness which is based on a modern legal and legislative system. He commended the efforts exerted by BPW Bahrain through their headquarters in Jasra, affirming the government’s keenness on providing a suitable atmosphere that supports the role of civil society organisations and strengthens their local, regional and international role. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the role played by civil society organisations in supporting the government’s efforts at the level of women empowerment so as to be able to make more contributions to making the present and future of the nation. BPW Bahrain board members extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his interest in Bahraini women, which, they said, has provided them with the appropriate atmosphere through which they can serve the nation in all fields. They affirmed that the Bahraini women have always proved their dedication in building the nation, and keenness to do their utmost for the sake of its progress.
