HRH Premier receives senior officials, businessmen

Manama, June18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has described the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as the leader of the Arab and Islamic nations, who seeks their progress, unity, security and safety of their peoples. “King Salman is always preoccupied with the concerns of the Nation and strives to achieve good for it, and through his initiatives, he will strengthen its security and stability and cement its unity and cohesion,” he said. The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving a number of state officials, businessmen, journalists and intellectuals, and reviewed with them national and regional issues. HRH Premier expressed pride in the values of communication, love and fraternity shared by the people of Bahrain, calling for the need to take advantage of the spiritual atmosphere prevailing during the holy month of Ramadan to foster values of compassion and tolerance through exchanged visits among the citizens. HRH Premier stressed that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab peoples are the most interconnected in their social and civilisational texture, given the solid relations between their leaderships, and the common history and deep-rooted kinship relations between them. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the patriotic role played by the members of the legislative branch, human rights and legal figures, as well as the Press and media community to defend the homeland’s security and stability.; WHQ
