HRH Premier thanked by BBA president

Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks from the President of the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA), HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, in reply to the Premier’s congratulations on Bahrain’s winning the 16th GCC U17 Basketball Championship, hosted by Oman recently. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his good feelings, which, he said, will motivate BBA to bring about more achievements that raise the kingdom’s banners at international gatherings. He expressed deep pride in the Premier’s support for him ever since he became BBA President, stressing that the Prime Minister’s directives will be a roadmap for developing basketball in Bahrain through preparing youth categories to be able to compete regionally and internationally. BBA president conveyed to HRH Premier the appreciation of the Bahrain U17 team, as well as its administrative and technical staff, for his constant support, pledging to spare no effort in order to attain more achievements.
