HRH Premier's directives to ensure citizens dignified living hailed

Manama, Aug. 16 (BNA): Ministers and members of Parliament and the Municipal Councils hailed the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister to ministers to do field inspection visits and inspect the services provided to citizens that reflect HRH’s keenness to provide all the means capable of ensuring dignified living standards to the citizens all over the kingdom’s governorates. The respondents to a questionnaire conducted by Bahrain News Agency (BNA) opined that the Premier’s directives came within the context of increasing-growing attention by the government over citizens’ service requirements to establish the high quality and sufficient quantity of services provided by the ministries, and listen to any remarks or complaints that His Royal Highness has always wanted to know on firsthand basis. The respondents praised the idea of field inspections by the officials that contribute largely into citizens’ assuredness about the standard of services provided and their sustainability in addition to that, the open-door policies and listening to the citizens voice anytime and everywhere is the government’s priority to carry on with the kingdom’s development process. Housing Minister Bassem bin Yacoub Al Hammer said the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister regarding inspection of housing services all over the kingdom’s regions, confirm His Royal Highness the Premier’s continuous keenness on the provision with all the means capable of ensuring citizens’ enjoy dignified living all over the governorates and the continual improvement of the quality of life. Al Hamer noted that HRH the Prime Minister has always paid so much heed to the provision of citizens’ housing needs as an essential element to achieve their social stability. He added that HRH the Premier has always been keenly overseeing the progress of housing projects in the various governorates as well as accelerating the implementation of ministry’s plans to fulfill the demand on housing. The minister said the directives of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister are a continuation of the continuous accomplishments in the field of residential services to the citizens led by the Prime Minister over the years. He reminisced that Bahrain’s affordable social housing to the citizens was launched in the 1960s under the supervision and follow-up of the wise leadership and overcame various challenges culminating in the provision of 129 different housing services ever since.
