Initiatives to improve tourism sector welcomed

Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTI), Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, participated in an activity of Bahrain-British Business Forum and stressed the importance of enhancing Bahrain as a tourism destination. Chairman of Bahrain-British Business Forum, Khalid Al Zayani and UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Simon Martin, were also present. Shaikh Khalid Al Khalifa highlighted the BTI’s commitment to support initiatives to improve tourism sector in conformity with the BTI’s long-term strategy that aims to reinforce Bahrain’s regional standing in tourism and exhibition sectors. The Bahrain-British Business Forum was established in 1995, it aims to stimulate trade and investment between the two kingdoms in a non-discriminatory, non-political and non-profit manner.
