Intelligence Book House Project launched in Thailand

BANGKOK, February 18 (TNA) - Thailand’s Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education under the Ministry of Education has launched the country’s Intelligence Book House Project, aimed to encourage more people to build “a love to read” habit. Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Pongthep Thepkarnchana presided over the launch of the project in Muang Thong Thani on the outskirts of Bangkok on Monday, in which almost 10,000 people took part. Two main goals of the project include encouraging more people to build the love to read habit, especially those living in rural areas, and providing easier access to knowledge and information sources for communities nationwide, which would, in turn, inspire more Thais to read.
