Interior Minister receives Supreme Council for Environment CEO

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today Chief Executive of the Supreme Council for Environment Dr Mohammed Mubarak bin Dainah, in the presence of Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan. The Interior Minister welcomed Dr bin Dainah, hailing the efforts to reinforce the general safety of the public. He pointed out that the National Plan to Respond to Emergencies and Nuclear Radiation is being reviewed for further development in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency to back local efforts in this regards. He also stressed the importance to deal with the existing and emerging threats through awareness and benefiting from the expertise of developed countries.  Dr. bin Dainah expressed thanks and appreciation to the Interior Minister for his dedication to promoting cooperation and enhance the safety of all citizens and residents.
